First up, Skin Care.
I recently switched to Clinique's 3-step program. (I was skeptical at first [I had heard mixed reviews], but now I loveeee it!) I purchased a trial size/small version at Sephora. It was $26 for all 3 products!
Let me just say the moisturizer (Step 3) is worth every penny spent! It goes on smooth. I chose the Clinique set because it gives 3 different product types. I chose the one for normal skin types and am pleasantly surprised with the way it has improved my skin!
Next up, Makeup!
Let's start with primers...
I have been using Makeup Forever primers for as long as I can remember, but after a random trip to Ulta (and a very long line to check out), I stumbled upon the Pore Professional...(I already own Bad Gal Lash by Benefit so I was curious to try this primer from the brand)! Let me just say...it is EVERYTHING! I recommend this primer to anyone who wants a solid coverage item that's easy to apply. I usually use this primer with my cream foundations and it contributes to my skin's flawless finish.
Speaking of Cream Foundations....
I love cream foundations! I feel like they give me the fullest coverage (depending on the brand). When I first began using cream, I was an exclusive AJ Crimson supporter. To this day, I think his cream foundation line was the absolute best for blending and matching brown skin tones. However, I was going on a trip and needed a refill of my cream foundation (you can only order AJ Crimson), so I headed to my favorite makeup store (Sephora)! There, I played with the matching machine and found that one of my potential matches was the Cover FX cream foundation line. I bought it, but ended up not using it on my trip. I had almost forgotten about it completely (I go through moments where I run out of one foundation, switch to another foundation in my collection that I have overlooked within the last month, and then forget to switch back to my original favorite....in this case, I switched from AJ Crimson to Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation), until I left my Estee Lauder DW and saw the Cover FX in my bag. Let me just say....I LOVE IT! absolutely adore it! The Pros: goes on smoothly, build-able medium to full coverage, great skin tone match. Cons: Had to reapply later in the day/not 24 hour coverage.
