Meet Jayla

Hi! First, I would like to welcome you to my personal blog. My name is Jayla and I am currently a postgraduate in London, humans of new york enthusiast, and a novel aficionado.  I love discussing political economies, making dessert recipes I find on pinterest, and giggling at funny youtube videos.

Thanks for stopping by. When I embarked on the journey known as college, I didn't know what to expect. I set out to accomplish a lot of things—some higher on the priority list than others. After three years, a degree under my belt, and some extra time on my hands, I had the bright idea to start a chapter I've always wanted to write—La Fille Ambitieuse. Now, in my final months of grad school, I am revamping it and giving this process my best effort. 

I hope you enjoy La Fille Ambitieuse and its contents as much as I cherished the time, energy, effort (and tears!) I've put into making this blog a reality.
